It is pretty likely that I will move to Derby in the next few months: new job, new country, new life!
Would you be so king to help me finding some reference points for our hobby in that city / area?

Derby is more East Midlands than mid-south. There are a few RC clubs around the area both on-road & off-road. the on-road club race on a Wednesday night not far from the old Ardent raceway site & there is always NDOR not far down the road & DRCORC as well normally on a sunday.
Shops are pretty well supported in the area as well, plus you have HPI & Durango pretty much on the doorstep.
