My apologies - I get my mid's mixed up And had assumed the wheels where just grubby and not in need of paint removal. The dish on my rims is quite textured so I'm sure a nail brush would be he way forwards if it is just dirt you wanted to shift.
The tyres are gen Kyosho off of eBay uk, from a vintage Kyosho model shop-can't remember he users name but will find out for you. They are the square pin option house tyre that no one fits as the purists seek out the original fit round pin tyres. I really like these tyres and I think they cost me less than £30.00 for both pairs delivered (bargin).
Out of all the vintage r/c cars I have collected its one of my most treasured, I just need to get it finished.
