if there's any substance in the very loud rumour, it's probably some form of gamesmanship on the part of lewis's management team, as obviously it's far easier to call the shots if another offer is on the table.

+1... to all of it, especially the bit about EJ not being the greatest pundit of all time!

The mark of greatness is not what you do, but what you leave behind. In most cases it is raising the game in some area that others have had to follow. In Schumacher's case it is just a bunch of numbers and 'nowt else. Senna was the better driver, Chris Amon the better test driver, Jackie Stewart the better racing brain, Prost the better tactician and so on. They left behind standards others had to beat that are now part of the racing game. I don't think he is great, just successful, but those are just my thoughts...
