You can run pin drive on the rear as well. You can use the standard driveshaft but have to be very careful not to overtighten and you can buy the pin conversion driveshafts but there about £20.
As for other parts. A lot of different shocks are possible, you can run tamiya and associated parts in the slipper and diffs as well I believe. Can't remember if there's anything else but I'm sure things are possible.

I've converted the rears to pin already. i found some yokomo bits to fit. They don't bind up when i do the nut up real tight either.

it's just the fronts. I've just ordered some b4 bits that should do the trick nicely
