I was in the same boat recently owning my cougar and fancying a bit of 4wd action, was a toss up between a b44.1 and an sx3 but chose the sx3 to stay with one brand. Sooooo glad I did, i adore using it and barely touch the cougar at the moment because it's so much fun! Can't really comment on the difference between cats tho but I can definitely recommend the cat route
