How about, the straight on the oposite side to the doors, and the loop at the end, double start line mid way up the straight - race control where it usually is, and rostrum on the side of the hall with the doors....
The thing is with having the loop at a distance from race control, is it will weaken the signal, and it depends on the length of coaxal they have - no.1 priority for me, is to have the loop where we know it'll count most reliably.
