I have a gmail account and keep getting spam from this lot

It can range from lose weight fast to the usual adult stuff and today I got
"Watch this weird webinar that teaches how to make money"
I have applied the usual filters and stuff but they keep getting through even though its only to the trash section Im fed up deleting them. Im sure a lot of this is from sellers I buy from on ebay selling email addresses.
Is there any way to stop it even getting to the trash.
