Why can't we have the loop on the straight? The loop runs across the track and to a connection box, this is then connected to a Co-ax cable AMB box at race control which is then connected to the laptop. Now cars going over the Co-ax isn't a problem as it's sheilded so they won't trigger a count, Only time that cars will count is when they either go near the loop or cross over the loop box.
So loop on the straight, double start line next to the fire door as it used to be.
It would have to be like that for the indoor finals anyways to meet the BRCa regs.
