I don't want to speak out of turn (I'm conscious of being new around here) but surely the sport has a finite future if the emphasis is on attracting returnees?
I think John makes a great point about getting more youngsters for the future, but - so as not to feel left out, although I recognise I'm in a minority group
- it would be good to attract more <cough> 'mature' newcomers to the sport too.
An example side-effect of that is in a few years from now I hope my son (he's 3 1/2) will be interested in racing.
