7075 is hard to get hold of in the UK, for small sheets you need to get it from the USA really. I have used 6082 for a few chassis in the past but always braced them to make sure theres no flex, that said they have all worked great . 6082 is redily available, all aluminium is pretty easy to cut, the harder stuff is easiest as it doesnt clog your tools, cheap stuff is like cheese
