Hi Steve,

doing some nice stuff now bud, don't sell yourself short!!! - just a comment on your last post re: prices tho. Whilst it's only a hobby or part time thing for you, and isn't part of your income per se, spare a thought for the guys that do make a living at it, and might be undermined by such competitive pricing. I've had trouble trying to price stuff myself too, I certainly don't regard my work as pro level, so it's difficult to judge. How much should you charge? I guess my best retort when clubmates suck their teeth and say "What!", "How much!!!!", is to ask them how much they expect to earn for half a days work - and pay for the materials to do that work up front...certainly more than twenty or thirty quid I'd wager...

Having spent all my working life with high profile design consultancies, charging frankly, eye watering rates, it pains me to charge such a pittance for my creative skills. But the market is what it is. I'm not going to win many clients charging £20-30 an hour for custom paint.

I think we're all selling ourselves short tbh. As my old boss used to say, "Busy fools!".

Not a rant Steve, just an observation, hope you take it in the manner intended.

cheers
Ju
