True, true... but I was thinking it's not so much the front to back flex of the crashback system but the lateral flex in the shock mount i.e. in the direction of the shock travel. You can even see it if you look down on the car and drop the front end. I reckon even with the crashback locked up there' would still be some flex that prevents the dampers working properly. Still, it's a good idea. I'd also put a carbon fibre brace between the shock mounts. It's just that those front wishbones are rare and I don't want to break any. By the way, I've used three 3x20mm o-rings on the front so it's probably a lot stiffer than bitd.
