In the category - the pricing of the kyosho would be worrying and scandalous if kyosho were price setters in the class, in which case everyone would price up. The day when AE jacks up the B4 price by 50%, then I'll be worried. for the moment, Kyosho is already priced way into the upper tier, any car they sell - they don't have enough pull on the market to drive prices by themselves

Great point - and well made. This is exactly what worries me - and why I said I wouldn't buy one out of principle - as the price is too high.
What's worrying - is enough people thinks its worth it (I for one do not at all and as a ex Kyosho owner - I believe anyone saying the kits are higher quality is deluded... ) will inevitably lead to other manufacturers charging more for their kits. Food for thought.
I for one think we should send a message to Kyosho - and the RC manufacturers who will be watching this over priced kit closely - and leave them on the shelves
