Well to be honest my first thought is what mask are you using as I dont really dont think its the right one, or its past its expiration time and you need a new one.

I would recommend a good 3m paint mask, if you email them with details of the paint (data sheets etc) for them they will even recommend one thats more than suited for the job, as what your experiencing isnt normal in my opinion.

A extractor is still a good idea but I'd still recommend a good mask, maybe ask Jon or one of the other guys what mask they recommend.

And dont forget if your using laquers as well then you need a mask good enough to keep them out aswell as the water based stuff.
