I'd agree with the above !

Buy the best you can afford !

The Futaba 3GR is a good starter set and has more than enough settings to get you started
I would say though get the 2.4ghz version then you can use it with the FrSky TFR4 Receiver at £21 each ( these receivers are great value and very robust )

If you can spend a little more then get the 3GR's big brother the 3VCS, you can pick one up s/h for £150'ish, as posted above then you have all and more settings and the flexibility of going to FASST, Spektrum or other 3rd party 2.4ghz Modules
