A voltage booster is not needed as the LRP SXX v2 has a 1S voltage booster built in - please read the first post!!
Reg, my first move would be to replace the servo with a Futaba equivalent, preferably a 9650 as this will work perfectly with all radio systems and is sized for 12th cars. If you are running 40MHz, then a 9602 will do the job and there are plenty around. If not, any other decent Futaba servo you choose. Avoid Savox - by far the vast majority of problems people post with interference and shutdowns in 1S include the phrase "and a Savox servo!"
I recommend you avoid all the glitch-busting solutions as these are just masks for a problem that all good 'any-radio'/SXX/Futaba electronic combinations always avoid in a 1S 12th car. HTH
