I use 3-4 coats, I apply one coat heat dry with hairdryer until it looks nice and dry, then apply a 2nd coat and do the same and follow the this same routine.
I still hairdry the last coat but with each additional coat it wont become as dry as the last, I then leave the body to dry overnight and TA DAA its ready for cut and paint the next morning.
Ive used this same technique since starting painting, never takes more than a day to dry, Ive actually masked one up at night and then painted in the morning so say 12hrs drying time.
