Novak GT7 is a very good brushed speedo.
Peak Raven's are cheap budget motors. Not very good.
Infinity motors - The Infinity motors from the UK tend to be pretty high quality but it might be some other brand you have there.
GP battery packs - if still in good condition are still good packs for 2wd buggy. If they are knackered, well, they are knackered. Whether new or used these are old cells now and will have been sitting around which isn't always great for them.
Second hand used batteries are always a risky buy. Motors are risky to a lesser extent, but it is easy to buy a motor that has only got a few good runs left in it before it wears out.
ESC's etc are usually a fairly safe buy, you can normally tell how well they have been cared for by the condition of the wiring and labels. They tend to just work until they go pop (if ever)!
