Ran my 410 with the new shell today - and I tore a chunk off the side of it by crashing at the end if the straight and sliding the car on some concrete !!!
Bloody typical - spend all day painting it - and ruin it 1st time out.

I had a shell I painted for a Batley Member, with the paint backing the chrome coming away. The shell had being fine - but was run in very wet conditions, not sure this should have affected it though - any ideas why the paint backing the chrome had come away ?
I know chrome has little adhesion - and on the shells i've done recently i've not used it - I've just used regular silver instead as i'm fed up with problems with chrome
