I run an R10 Pro ESC, standard size/1258 savox servo and spectrum micro RX, with the switch, the PT and the capasitor, its VERY Tight, but fits with standard size saddles. more room can be got with a stumpy lipo.
Have a look at the measurments and also some pics in the "show us your 22" section. should get a better idea in there, so decent interior pics i seem to remember. You can put the esc on the motor guard if you prefer, depends what shell your running thou..... its a sort of crowbar it all in......
As for the motor, I started back fom a 22 yr break, last year with a 7.5t, plenty quick enough...... prob to much.
Now, i run a 10.5T with timing and turbo/boost added and its as quick as anything on the track on the strait, but more driveable in the infield. MUCH better than the lower turned motors.... The TC drivers out there will be the ones to know more about the timing etc, as thats where i got my info from, an EX TC champ...... Seems to be more people going the 10.5t route now and playing with ESC settings. seems to run cooler than my 7.5t was to.
SOOOOO Much easier to dive and way more control, less punch meaning smoother all round but my laptimes have increased.....
I use a 6.5t in my 4wd and thats monster enough to. dropped from the 5.5t and again, much better once you add timing etc.....
Hope that makes sence???
