Hi Chris,
Although you don't mention it, I'll assume that you're asking because it plan to build up the car in mid motor configuration? In rear motor config, there's probably not too many electronic combinations that can't be made to fit but in mid motor, things can get really tight.
Firstly, you might struggle to get hold of an xcelorin combo these days as AFAIK, they're discontinued.
Secondly, 6.5T is about as hot as you're likely to ever want in a 2WD currently. Depending on the actual brand of motor and depending on whether you were to use a more modern ESC with boost timing, you might want to consider dropping a wind or two down to a 7.5T or even an 8.5T.
Although you are a returning racer, you might want to play it a little safer on your return and plumb for a slightly milder motor - you won't loose out very much if anything at all.
I haven't got my 22 to hand but the Low Profile servo is paramount if you are going to try to get all of your electronics in front of the cell space. Many people have done this (my own install with a Spektrum S6070, Spektrum SR3520 micro Rx and an Orion R10 ESC does all fit up front) but many others have fitted wither the ESC or the Rx on the angled motor guard face or even built a plate so that the ESC can sit above the cells.
Hope this helps
