Not really an answer,
But I take it this is for a show, arrive and drive, pay a couple quid and get a minute or two !!
The only issue is safety !!
Cutting the power to the car, mid flow, will cause the car to role on uncontrolled and may cause a crash or accident !!
The easiest way is to use a small charge is the battery and let the BEC cut in, this way, normally the steering still works to bring it to a stop safely !!
But I'm no electronics expert ( obviously ) LOL
