Then they should allow you to race it as it IS 250mm wide like the max width says.I measured it as well so i know mine is right and if they moan then i`ll demand they allow it. If it rubs so what, it means its 250 wide, if it jams then its too wide. And also why would a company make a car thats not right. The Brca box must be too high then as its tyre width not axle width.
We use the Brca micro gauge which is wheel width not axle width when i run mine micro. So why the 1/10th is a box is beyond me
