I run my cells up front on both my trucks to keep the front wheels down when climbing and have weighted the fronts as well.
Dont see why you couldnt mount one either side but as with nearly all scalers you will have to make something for them.
As i run 1700mah lipos which last for hour and a half each then you shouldny really need two batteries together, Just carry another in your pocket and swap them when the time comes. Thats what i do anyways
