I run mine (C4.1) without any wussy chassis braces and it's ok
A tiny bit of tweak doesn't really make any difference, I managed to bend my prototype chassis last year at the Southport national (hitting Northy's rather substantial footwear DRS open, KERS deployed on the straight), after doing nothing more scientific than putting it over my knee and bending it back then ran it until I got my production chassis - didn't make any difference to the handling!
