The centre gear is the weak spot in the gearbox, so I expect it will be hard to find someone with a spare one.
Pargu makes an alloy one, but I don't know anyone who has used one.
As for chassis, if it's a narrow chassis with stick pack battery holders it's short wheelbase, if it's a wide chassis with cutouts for saddle pack batteries it's long wheelbase.
