Hey,

Firstly I'd like to say thats not bad at all for your first attempt, things I think you could practice to make it look extra sharp would be
  • a little lighter with the shadows, make nice light passes and slowly build up the shadows, dont try to do the shadow in one go (reducing the paint will help alot with this)
  • Try to cut the mask in nice smooth strokes (this takes alot of practie, youve done well for your first attemp)
  • I think the colours work very well together but a nice pinstripe between the blue and yellow would finish it off nicely for me

Other than that youve done really good job and I think you should be quite proud of that for your first time, You will find you will improve with each one and find a new way to improve what your already doing,(you also find you do something wrong each time lol) airbrushing is quite a personal thing (IMO) and each person does things a little different and thats fine, its the final piece that matters

What size needle are you using Ive used .35 on 10th scale and found it works pretty well to cover the background, a little higher pressure and holding the brush further away helps.

But you could always do the details with the brush and fill the background using a can.

Anyway great work and keep posting
