I also use shorty batteries (Vampire Racing, great stuff!), and I really like the way you can move the weight to the front or rear.
Kind of refilled my shocks for the first time today. Oil was super clean, and hardly any of it had found a way out. Most of the few drops of oil I added, went out through the bleed holes again! That's after one race and quite a few training days.
Moved to a 7.5 turn motor meanwhile - the first time ever for me - and the Max is just great. Only some small adjustments are needed and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I never had a car that was so easy to set up and so consistent before.
As I'm going to our track with my eight year old son tomorrow, I installed the 17.5 again; I'd had to install it again anyway on Sunday at the latest, when I'll be going to the new Duisburg dirt track for some club racing.
