i dont think a tyre rule should be in place until the venue has at least run a few meetings.
At west berks for example, the more worn the tyre is the better it performs. I have some completely slick rear pins that are faster than at any stage they had any dimples left.
The tyres all cost the same, so id say no restrictions would be better.
But definately no addetive.
If the commitee feel there is a need for some kind of restriction, maybe it should be along the lines of a set limit. ie, you are not allowed more than one set of new tyres per week. it worked at EOS
