also to add what pinky has said FORCC has adopted the same there there is an open tyre rule but for 99% of the club runs full spikes the odd 1% can run a mini spike and still win.
for example if i were racing at marritime on mini pins and winning and lee martin came along on mini spikes and whooped every body would it matter no i think the off road scene is much more layed back and it wont matter.
ps your poll doesn't have a open tyre section i have no where to tick.
