You forgot about one of my sponsors Castle Craft and Hobbies in Northampton and Bedford! Those were the days of the 1700sce's Glynn Peglar matched and another sponsor B&R motors, I could then purchase the motors for £20.00 instead of £45.00.
Back in the day it used to be great for racing, Cranes in Northampton one Sunday, the following was Toddington, then Aylesbury & perhaps a longer trip to the multi surface track at Southend (Concrete, Grass, Mud & a bit of astro).
