Whilst running at the 1/8th brushless rallycross last sunday I suffered with an ESC problem for all of qualifying. I was running the Monster Mamba, 2200kv motor with 4s 25/50c 5000mah lipos on 15/45 gearing- the problem appeared to be with the traction control/punch setting, i started the day with 25% punch (75% traction control) which caused a little stutter in practice. I adjusted it throughout the day to a total of 80% punch (20% traction control) which made it undriveable & resulted in a rather spectacular rear-end smash going down the straight.
For the final I decided to go back to 20% punch (80% traction control) & 14/45 gearing which seemed to resolve the problem but left it feeling a little under powered compared to some of the other runners.

Has anybody else had this issue? is it just a problem with the lipos not haveing a high enough "C" rateing?
