Found a new way on the alloy hexes by sheer fluke of luck. I now have alloy hexes with grub screws in from Axial SXC10 Honcho or Dingo truck.
They the same thickness as standard plastic ones and the added grub screw holds them on perfect. No loosing drive pins anymore. I found this as was rooting throo my hex collection and found them and they fitted perfect
