Thumbs will always do the talking. Now we have the GT12 Circuit Rules that embody the design principles of the original Mardave car, you are looking at the only two designs that make sense.
12th Circuit drivers have always had a choice of cars based on its design principles (solid rear axle mainly) and there have been lots of designs based on the same principles. Nonetheless, the same drivers have always been at the top of the tree, almost whatever car they drive. David Spashett won three 12th IFMAR Worlds with three different cars, and Andy Griffiths has won a dozen or more British titles with four cars to my knowledge - it might be more.
This class is no different. There is a huge assumption here that the new Schumacher car (in all its glory - I've seen it too!!

) will be faster than the Mardave car, but that is an assumption that is untested. I suspect they will be closer than people think, and that Mardave will come back with some upgrades. Providing a tight rein is kept on the power source and the motors, it will still be the best thumbs that win the day.
Bring it on!!
