For the money Councils spend supporting youth clubs and schools that we run RC clubs at, is it really worth it? For the money councils spend maintaining municipal golf courses... For the money the Government spend maintaining school playing fields... For the money... This argument can be made for everything we spend money on.
It is going to cost 1.6% of the annual cost of running this country, and most of that is going to be paid by London Council Tax payers and sponsors. Compared to the 5.8% we spend on Scotland each year for their 5% contribution to taxes, I don't think it is worth worrying about. Just my 2p...
