Hi,
*
Yes it is a little complicated but it’s what you need to have today to have a top performance ESC.
*
So the Boost Timing is the timing that is always applied, it’s the same as adding timing mechanically on the motor. All motors have some timing built inside them even if the notch on the motor says 0°. Usually motors have 15° or more built-in and some manufacturers cheat with this and put 30° or more so that you think the motor is super fast but in fact it’s already at max timing when you buy it… That’s why we set it a 0° so that we are sure you don’t burn your motors if they have crazy timings built into them already.
*
Turbo timing is extra timing that is added when at full throttle, it will give extra performance down the straight, etc.
*
Turbo slope rate sets how turbo timing is applied, basically x degrees of timing added every 0.1 second the ESC is at full throttle.
*
Turbo delay sets after how much time at full throttle before Turbo timing starts to be applied (at the rate defined by the turbo slope rate).
*
Makes it a bit clearer, for me anyway
Thankyou so much
Makes perfect sense - happy days
