I guess our club is lucky that we already have AMB with 10 handouts and several grand in the bank along with a average turnout of 18 racers every week.
Our outdoor venue currently costs us a measly £20/week which makes it very profitable. Indoors is now setting us back £47.50/week as this is in the local school. The venue is perfect for us as we have a shed on site to store our track and AMB in and the canteen provides tables and chairs and mains so you couldn't. ask for more really.
Our permanent venue would instantly free up £400 from what we'd spend anyway racing outdoors and then combine that with a few larger weekend meetings and we should easily raise the £1000 for the rent.
At the moment it's still a pipe dream, but I'm sure we'll get the ball rolling shortly.
