The OP stated his problems and I was saying that I'd he raised the voltage he'll have even less current for the rx.
I'm interested in what you say about your servo, I might look into those futabas.
Incidentally I tried an old Kiel fet servo that ran perfectly well on a Carson esc with my MMP yesterday and it browned out straight away
