Cheer guys
Looking through Durango's website the following are standard parts on the V3, option parts on the V3R...

Anti Roll Bars
Big Bore Shocks
Aluminium Suspension Holder FF
Aluminium Suspension Holder FR
Aluminium Suspension Holder RF
Aluminium Caster Blocks
RR Suspension Hanger (Insert version)
Fine Tune Carbon Fibre Shock Towers
Aluminium Spacers

Other than that the cars seem to be identical, so it would seem what the V3 gives you over the R is aluminium parts in key areas for strength, some more adjust-ability with anti roll bars, insert RR suspension hanger, fine tune shock towers.

Big bore shocks are nice, but I have been told by a couple of people that the standard bores can be made to work just as well, I have borrowed a 410 from a mate as I am thinking about buying one myself it came with standard bores which made it twitchy and a little unpredictable in the bumpy sections (car would kick up) fitted a set of 210 big bores and the car much better over the bumps and jumps at my local track (Coventry).

Oh and some nice gold bling as well...

So at the end of the day it comes done to the amount of cash in your wallet, or which car is the best value for what you pay for it (the would be the V3 for me).
