Hi Matthew,

I haven't raced on dirt for years, so I was asking the same question recently.
From what I can gather, you select the tyre based on "cleanliness" of the surface and the wear rate/roughness of the surface.

One team driver told me that on dirt tracks where the racing line get an almost glassy shine on it, you can run M4's till they are almost slicks.

I've also heard that M3's are more suitable to dusty tracks and tracks where the wear rate is high....

Sorry if this is a bt vague.....
More info will be needed on the RHR Dirt track I reckon.
