So, dredging this thread up from page 4, but I promised an update!

finally got some new bodies painted up before Cactus, including the JConcepts Finnisher body I had ordered and received last September (difficulties with painters). I got around to mounting it last night and I think it will work pretty well, with some creative trimming and a quick touch with a heat gun.
Here are some quick pics I took after cutting the body out. I cut the front out on the cut lines, then just took my time test fitting and cutting the rear out. I finally decided that it will take a heat cut to bend the body around the motor endbell and wires, rather than cutting that off and leaving it exposed. However I don't think it'll be very much work to do that and I really like the look of the body
