Whoops sorry for my reply, i wasnt taking the p*ss, i thought that you thought nitros were running and were asking if electrics were running too....

Yup as Ian says, very rare to find an outdoor track with 240 volt. Best bet is a good battery or genny.

However i took a diferent route.... as i rebuild & run old cars ( real ones ) i have lots of old car batteries ... i need a good battery charger so i brought this last year -

http://www.amazon.co.uk/RING-RSC8-Sm...019275&sr=1-14

I tested it on a 10+ year old Mk3 XR3i battery i had in the garage that was dead as a doornail, topped up the cells with ionised water, and cycled it twice. Put it in the XR3i, and perfect ! Never a problem with it since and holds a full charge nicely. Ive since tried it on my other old batteries, and has worked on every single one of them to a good degree. The guy next door who runs a fleet of hire vehicles brought a couple on my reccomendation, and cant sing its praises high enough.

So if you want a cheap 'lecy suplly for meetings, pop down to ATS/Kwic Fit/National, ask if they have an old high-capacity battery they have taken out of a customers car - they will give it to you for free normally, specialy if you know them - buy the above charger ( or one like it that reconditions and deep-cycles ) for 40-45 quid, and you will never have to worry about buying another charging battery ever again as you can pick up old ones for free... and if you do get a 'dud' battery that really wont recondition, just pop down and get another one.... and you get a great charger for the 'real' car into the bargain

Hope that helps...
