Weight should be ok once it's up there and laid out...it'd be spread nicely over the area, my worry would be getting the astro up there, and moving it about once it's up there!
At anything up to a ton per roll...you'd use lifting equipment to deal with it ideally! Then many people to move it into place once it's in the right kind of area...it can be
very heavy stuff...
I wonder if the carpet you have might be a better option if it's going to be upstairs? Though not quite the 'outdoors' feel your obviously going for, it might work out easier to deal with in general...look forward to seeing progress anyway
