I use acetone as well. does it perfectly, 24 hours etc etc.... as everyone else.
It does evaporate unless you have a very air tight sealed container.
I have tried to get the tyres off complete out of interest and managed a couple of times, but other times they rip, so i would say the acetone does have an effect on the rubber, and not surprized its lethal stuff Right!
I would prob say best to remove useless tyres as you dont want a used acetoned tyre slpitting and coming off in a final now do you??
