I can only give you gearing advise to be honest because i run a speed passion speedo.
I know what you mean though, i have been looking around the internet for ages looking for any gearing advice out there and the only way i managed to find a gearing was with lots of testing and a temp gun.
Gearing you are looking around the 6.5-6 fdr range
