Don't forget servo for steering Savox, Futaba, Ace & Sanwa and a transponder for counting the laps, the club does have handout transponders but there a lot of hassle and once you've got your own you'll never have to worry, there are 2 types of transponder (PT) one is called harry and can be found here http://www.bbksoftware.com/ the other type is MRT and can be found here http://www.team-mrt.com/ I believe they sell on ebay and are compatable with the timing equipment the club has.
It may be worth joining the club as this will also give you a discount code to use here http://www.jespares.com/. (note) there are other Shops to use online.
Li-po's are available from a club member and are very good value.
There maybe some club members selling there equipment so if you have something to sell please help.
I almost forgot you will probably need some tools as well, AVOID cheap one's as they ruin the screws and the tool as well.
If i think of other stuff you may require i'll post on here.
Regards Tony.
Cheers Tony, I had most of that noted down but the servo and transponder info is appreciated. Thanks for your help today, I never thought I'd need to learn my right from left again at my age...!!

Good call on the same make, I appreciate wheel fittings are different so there could be a useful saving on those alone! Did I speak to you today BTW?
