hey Viking! Didn't mean to sound negative at all, I'm just talking out of my own experience with several cars where personally I didn't like weight placed to the sides of the chassis (and up front).
I also plan to use the car on dirt tracks, where weight balance is a n°1 issue.
Note that I also developed this brace in cooperation with a Belgian C4.1 driver
