Yep they were another tyre of choice along with the x patterns Rich, some guys used the kyosho h patterns too thinking about it... Agree with the stubbies especially when it was dry & dusty
I can remember the lengths the guys used to go to with the sawdust when it rained and the water congealed with the oil
