The whole idea is to keep the cost down in tenth off road, the tyre rules were changed years ago to sort this out. Much better to have a control tyre that everyone can readily purchase and not have people turning up with obscure tyres that only a selective few can use because they get them for nothing. Out of interest, what are Louise tyres? Never heard of them
