What they are all saying is that the Losi XX4 steering setup gives a
greater difference in ackerman between the two settings compared with the centre link type of adjustment in your picture, the complete opposite of your statement.
Whoever is talking to you and whatever you are reading don't know what they are talking about.
Generally less ackerman (the standard setup) gives more aggressive steering and better steering into the corner, but can lead to sudden oversteer when you let off the power in the corner and the outer tyre loads up.
More ackerman (the inner holes) gives less initial turn in but is more consistent through the corner. Also gives better steering at low speed (but who wants to go slow
